At the core of our product offering is our OASIS C++ API.
Its functionality comprises the most
advanced capabilities offered by the new format OASIS.
Oasis Tooling's electronic design automation software
products are used by the world's leading design
software, equipment, mask and integrated circuit
manufacturers. We play a significant role in the
verification and the development of data
and computational infrastructure comprising tomorrow's
leading-edge designs and mask manufacturing processes.
Our product offerings extend from the development
of a robust, complete and forward-looking OASIS
C++/C API Infrastructure. We verified its
robustness by the development and use of the first
commercial OASIS regression test suite which helped
many other companies pioneering their OASIS
implementations. We ensured that it was complete
because we wanted to be able to exploit all of the
functionality offered by the OASIS specification. We
built our API with the future in mind. We develop
Geometry Kernels and Libraries for tomorrow's more
advanced device architecture such as the CELL
Broadband Engine. Our team has extensive working
knowledge and insight into the programming of these
chips for computational geometry applications. All of
this functionality is available for CAD/CAM
development through our C++/C API or at least some of
the capability can be purchased off the shelf
from us.
We build Applications based on OASIS for
design, mask manufacturing and test applications.
We applied low-level primitives allowed by the OASIS
format to offer the first OASIS VLSI Layout
Database. Using the same principles we can
accelerate stream In/Out times and CAD operations by
2-200X, depending on the application.
We had foreseen the complexities of worldwide OASIS
implementation. We recalled and suffered through not
having commercial, standard, verification and
acceptance technology when using GDSII. We have had
first hand experience not having enough test cases to
fully test our software before delivery to the field.
We know as well how frustrating it can be to try to
debug in the field. So we developed the first
commercial OASIS Verification Technology. The
offering includes all of the tools and utilities
(translators, parsers, slicers, etc.) needed to verify
and accept an OASIS flow. Our verification technology
offers the broadest functionality and flexibility
which ensures the greatest chance to debug and
optimize the performance of an OASIS flow.
